Directions: We are located in Hillsboro, WV. Our farm is located
on Denmar Road - approximately 2/10th of a mile from Route 219.
Payment: Cash, Check. Our pigs are a mix of heritage breeds
(Large Black, Glouchester Old Spot, Tamworth & Hereford) which
produces a very moist and flavorful meat that is hard to find in
the supermarket. All of our pigs enjoy a life of leisure -
hanging out in the several acres of pasture, with the freedom to
sunbathe, graze or wallow in a mud hole. The hogs always have
access to fresh water and shelter from sun, wind, snow and rain.
They are fed with locally produced grains. When the hog is
approximately 6 months, it will go to the local meat processor.
You will have the ability to choose how your pork will be cut.
The cost for the hog is $2.25 per "hanging weight" pound. We
require a non-refundable deposit of $50 for a half hog or $100
for a whole hog. Additionally, the meat processor will bill you
for his services (slaughter and cutting). Chickens are a Cornish
Rocks cross and are butchered between 7-8 weeks. Price is $3.50
per pound with an end weight between 4-5 lbs. Chickens are sold
whole. We are inspired by Polyface Farms in Virginia. Please
