Twice a day we collect eggs from our Rhode Island Reds and White Leghorn hens. Rhode Island Reds are brown hens that lay brown eggs; White Leghorn hens are white hens that lay white eggs. We keep our chickens in an indoor, cage-free coop so they're tucked away safely from predators and diseases. Our birds eat a special feed made from grain, corn, soybean, and flax: full of healthy Omega-3s. (ADDED: March 18, 2021)

The basic idea of CSA farming is a cooperative relationship between the farmer and his customers. Based on an annual commitment to one another, community members provide a pre-season payment to purchase a share of the harvest .
